Carcavelos Surf School was born in 2001, being the FIRST SURF SCHOOL IN CARCAVELOS BEACH, LISBON. Our school is certified by the Portuguese Surf Federation and by Turism of Portugal. The purpose of the school is to teach the art of surfing the waves in a correct, relaxed and safe way, always with close supervision from our teachers. Thousands of people already learned to surf the waves on top of a surf board with us.
Our facilities allows our students equip themselves and keep their belongings in a safe place and at the end of the class they have at their disposal an exterior shower. We have a large variety of safe surf boards (softboards) and modern neoprene suits to allow us to teach surf in a safe and fun way.
The school responsables are graduated in Surf by the Human Motricity University, with experience and accredited by the FPS. The school is open all year, including weekends and holidays. Our schedules may vary due to tides and sea condition.
Surfing is one of the most complete and natural experience known. If you've never tried to surf, try it, you will love it!
