The Carcavelos Surf School was founded in 2001, leading to the FIRST SCHOOL IN SURF BEACH CARCAVELOS.

The school was created with the intention of boosting the beach Carcavelos promoting and teaching people to practice various sports activities related to the sea.
In order to start the athletes in surfing and bodyboarding, the Carcavelos Surf School develops its work on two levels: learning and technical development, serving students of all ages, both genders and all skill levels (from beginner to surfers who already compete).

Surfing is one of the most complete and natural experience that is known. If you have never tried surfing, try, you'll love!
Through the surf meet the unique experience that your body is in harmony with the ocean. It promotes a healthy lifestyle and ecological awareness.

• Welcome to Carcavelos Surf School

  The Carcavelos Surf School was founded in 2001, leading to the FIRST SCHOOL IN SURF BEACH CARCAVELOS. Teachers are Post Graduates in Surf Faculty of Human Kinetics, experienced and accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation. The School is registered with the Tourism of Portugal and is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation. The school has facilities that are appropriate to students' needs (clothing, hygiene) and a wide range of surfboards and wetsuits. The classes are for students of all ages and levels.
