Environment-friendly school

Protecting the environment is part of the mission of Carcavelos Surf School, thus contributing to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and ecological awareness of their students.

Having knowledge of the harmful consequences of the deposit of neoprene for the environment, the surf school Carcavelos Beach, joined the company Clothing Neutral to define the future of the 18 events of surfing, about 17 kg of neoprene, not used in working classes.

The solution to what can become a serious environmental problem went through reuse of neoprene with the aim of creating Invitations, Iphones, Tablets, Smartphones, Laptops, among others.

We believe that with this measure we can optimize the ecological time of the life cycle of neoprene and reuses it to create new products. Thus, in addition to reuse important, we have avoided deposit a detrimental to our planet spared in water consumption of energy and emission of CO2 (carbon dioxide).
